MANDATED AND NON-MANDATED DWI/DUI/DWAI SCREENING is a testing process using one or two OASAS approved screening instruments (questionnaires) and review of driving record, arrest report, and collateral with at least one family member. This is used to determine if your drinking patterns are safe, risky or harmful.

MANDATED AND NON-MANDATED DWI DUI/DWAI ASSESSMENT includes a thorough review of your driving record, arrest report, any other pertinent information, a collateral with at least one family member, in addition to a Bio-Psycho-Social that is a 2 part interview process gathering a Physical and Mental Health History, Alcohol and/or Substance Use History, a complete background of employment, family dynamics, relationships, educational, medical, legal background, etc. plus a complete mental status exam which altogether is used to determine if your drinking patterns are safe, risky, or harmful. This information will also be used to make recommendations and/or treatment interventions concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing and after-care.
